Profile
Rutul Joshi teaches at Faculty of Planning and Public Policy (CEPT University) since 2006, where he teaches subjects related to land use planning, housing and transportation planning. His published research and interests are specifically related to spatial disparities, sustainable mobility and land use, urban poverty, mobilizations in/of low-income settlements and land tenure issues. He is also a ‘sustainable transport’ enthusiast and is trained to impart training on ‘non-motorised transport’. He is a recipient of ‘Independent Fellowship’ of SARAI-CSDS, Delhi in 2004. His current research is exploring the accessibility and mobility issues for the poor in the cities of Global South. He has registered for PhD at the ‘Center for Transport and Society, Faculty of Environment and Technology, University of the West of England, Bristol (UK)’.
