CLASS OF PLANNING 08
A batch of 104, the students are from diverse academic and geographic backgrounds. The batch is united in their effort to learn from each other as well as the course. From individual assignments to group submissions they have always held the spirit of unity while at the same time retaining their individual strengths.

The batch of Planning 08 has thoroughly inherited the CEPT finesse, its spirit and the culture. The key qualities are:
- The versatility to envisage and successfully tackle various projects of varied dimensions and intricacies.
- The capacity to innovate and develop ideas to address a gamut of planning issues.
- The kind of exposure that we have had the privilege of, ranging from metropolitan to remote tribal villages.
- The ability to multi task which is deeply ingrained in each of us.
- The spirit of teamwork which unites the class to work for common ends.
PLACEMENTS 2010
We have initiated the final placement activities for the batch of ‘08-‘10. Kindly note the important dates regarding the same.
Confirmation of participation: January 17, 2010
Placement Week: February 8-14, 2010
PLACEMENT PROCESS
Placement brochures are sent out to companies/organizations giving an introduction of the outgoing batch with details about the course, its contents and a brief profile of each student.
PLACEMENT WEEK - 8th-14th Feb ‘10
The companies/organizations interested in recruiting students and participating in the placement week would require confirming the same to the Placement Cell by 17th Jan ’10. They would be required to send in the feedback form containing details of the job offer by post or e-mail to spcept.placement@gmail.com
Companies/organizations can also send in their profile details, details of projects taken up by the company and area of expertise to the placement cell, which will be circulated among the students. Dates of campus interviews would be allotted to the respective companies by the Placement Cell.
Once the company has expressed their intention towards the campus placements, a set of resumes of the interested candidates could be sent on request. Resumes of each student are available online as well.
The company would need to inform the placement cell of their recruitment process (short listing, conducting tests, interviews, etc.) at least one week prior to the placement week.
The company is required to give a firm offer commitment to the selected students by the end of the day of the interview; else the student will be allowed to sit for other interviews.
Dates of campus interviews would be allotted to the respective companies by the Placement Cell.
